ER Services Sagl is looking for a COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT MANAGER -TECHNICAL PRODUCTS for a global PVC film manufacturer with headquarters in Varese, IT.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and qualify business opportunities within assigned regions.
• Conduct market research to identify potential markets and customers.
Sales and Business Development
• Analyse market trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop sales strategies to expand market share.
• Identify, prospect, and develop new clients, agents, and distributors.
• Formulate pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with clients.
• Develop and implement action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct regular customer visits and provide reports.
• Attend trade fairs and industry events to gather market and product insights and engage with prospects and clients.
• Contribute to the development of new products and solutions.
• Monitor sales performance and report regularly to senior management.
Financial Management
• Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
• Negotiate payment terms and oversee payment collection.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to currency fluctuations, credit, and market volatility.
• Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and adjustments as needed.
• Generate reports and statistical analyses for management.
Leadership and Collaboration
• Work cross-functionally with Production, Supply, Customer Service, and Finance to align export activities with business goals.
• Provide training and support to the customer service team.
Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
• 5-8 years of experience in business development and commercial execution, preferably in the thermoplastic industry.
• Proven track record in achieving export sales targets and expanding market share.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, logistics, and customs procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Availability to travel internationally as needed.
